it was too early & little too muddy, but a great softball game.the girls all did a great job-my Maddy had 3 hits, a super slide, & 1 RBI.
despite the heavy subject matter & depressing outlook, I did enjoy the management meeting today…I like hanging with my fellow IM sups :)
sophie is ok with her fave guy, jensen ackles, being married now- she didn’t expect him to wait until she grew up, because ‘he’d be dead’ :)
jordan has decided she wants to have her 7th birthday party at atlantis. jordan likes to aim high. :D
today is dress rehearsal for dance recital…the girls are excited. it’s going to be a long day!
avatar really is awesome… unusual for 2 little girls to actually watch for 162 minutes & then ask to watch it again immediately. :D
oh my…casey’s now has macaroni & cheese pizza…could be the perfect food according to some little girls I know. :)
Last night, the cat locked herself-and the keys-in the car. Good times.
more upset and turmoil today at DHS…luckily it was kept to a minimum. but I’ve got a crazy few months coming at me very very fast!

can’t believe how cold it is today…I’m going to make some naan in an effort to warm up the kitchen.
i didn’t get laid off today, but i feel sick for the 88 people that did.
It’s pink slip day for DHS…happy fun times.
shuffling the girls in and out of costumes and to dance for pictures is not fun on 2 hours sleep after being up all night…i’m getting old!
butch walker was awesome (as usual), 2 a.m. Denny’s was not awesome this time, my BLT is awesome (of course), & I am awesomely tired. :D

I can’t help it…I just love that vampire diaries show!
I have so much to do at work, & it makes me mad I am furloughed tomorrow…on the other hand, I am so glad I don’t have to work tomorrow! :D
can’t wait till dance is over so we can concentrate on softball & tee-ball…there’s way too much going on right now.
today I made 4 trips back & forth to bonaparte, and one extra-long detoured trip to ft. madison (thanks, Mr. President and your motorcade!)

in my week home with injured sophie, I have taught her to enjoy the music of the strokes & she has shown me how funny fanboy &chumchum are.
season finale of spartacus - perhaps the most awesome thing I have ever seen on television.
sophie is in her tiny wheelchair, and this is the first time her siblings have witnessed that. the excitement is palpable. :)
allllllll day meeting today…
have to go to Des Moines overnight for work, &kids are giving me a guilt trip. “I wish our momma could come home tonight” - sad-face sophie
watched the new Doctor Who…the new guy is going to work out just fine. ;)
